If your kids are like mine, they love being in the water. My oldest loves the pool. Everytime we drive by our neighborhood pool when it is closed, he asks when it will be open. He is yearning for his time in the pool. I like taking our kids to the pool, but it is a lot of work with little ones. I like to make sure I have everything to make the time enjoyable. I am sure you do too.
Easter is upon us and we all want to be ready to put the perfect basket together for our little ones. I love to give my kids new books to stir their imagination and learning. I often pack their baskets with books- steering away from candy and sweets. I also do not like those cheap toys that end up in the landfill in a few days. To help you stuff your Easter baskets with books, I have done the research and rounded up the best Easter books for kids. I have even put an Amazon affiliate link for them so you can easily add them to your cart.

The warmer weather will be approaching soon. Spring is around the corner and it is time to get the littles outside now that the days are getting longer. I love it when we play outside all day, get creative and stay busy. I strongly believe children need to be outside. It helps them grow, learn, keeps them healthy and active. We need to surround them with toys that help create that environment. If you give them toys they will play for hours. It is an investment that has endless dividends. Let’s do this!
he month of February is Congenital Heart Defect awareness month. I would like to share with you a little bit about our family and why this month is so important to us.
Well, I have been following a few bloggers who love a tidy home. One in particular asked about DIY laundry soap. (Her IG account is @minimalist.motherhood) I have been using this soap for almost 3 years now for all of our clothes. It is safe for baby clothes, ours and toddler clothes from playing in the dirt. We do not like a lot of scent in our clothes, so this is perfect. I got this recipe for homemade laundry soap from Happy Money Saver. but have adapted it somewhat. The base of it is from her website.

I really love a clean house that sparkles. I always have loved a tidy house with no clutter. (Well, if there is clutter, it is in the closet with the door closed.) My husband will tell you that is where my clutter lived when we were dating. My apartment closets were a little messy, but the rest of my home was clean. I have a few friends that have asked me what I use to keep our house clean. I would love to share with you the products I use. Please know that our house has mostly hardwood floors, Only one room in the house has carpet. I also have two toddlers who love to play outside in the grass and dirt.
Giving your new baby a bath can be a little nerve racking as a first time parent. We all want it to go well, for the baby to enjoy bath time and create a bonding moment. The bond is so awesome to watch your precious little one kick and have fun in the water. We kept it pretty simple with bath time supplies, but they work really well. I knew I wanted items that I could wipe down or put in the dishwasher. Cleanliness was the most important piece.
Getting ready for a new baby isn’t easy. Trying to know what you need can be overwhelming. If we are honest, every new Mom or Dad needs help picking out baby registry items. I know I was pretty clueless on what was most needed, I definitely found it very beneficial to hear from someone who has been there. It has taken some trial and error, but I would love to share some of our best recommendations that are a must for the new Mom or Dad.
