Best Fall Interactive Book- Tap the Magic Tree
With the holiday season upon us and the leaves falling (at least in the Southern states), I wanted to get Stanley a fun tree book. We borrow a lot of books from our public library down the street, but sometimes it nice for our boys to have some new books of their own. I usually buy one or two books a month to keep things fresh at home. The book is called Tap the Magic Tree and was well worth the purchase. I do have to say thank you to the blog called Little Pine Learners who told me about this book. Thank you so much!
We began reading this book this week after it came in the mail. Stanley, who is three years old, has already started to memorize the interactive parts of the book. This is the second interactive book we own. I will now begin looking for more of the same. Here is a link to the first interactive book we have at home and the review about it.
First of all, the colors in this book are bright and vibrant. You can really feel like the seasons are changing. You can tap the tree, rub the tree, knock on the trunk, wiggle the book. It is super cute to begin a very basic lesson about science and the events that happen to a tree over the course of a year. It shows leaves changing colors, falling off, snow coming, birds making a nest, apples growing and falling.
I cannot say enough good things about the book. Please go grab a copy to give to your littlest love for the holiday.
