Finally, a running stroller that rocks!
Yes, we really do have a favorite running stroller that travels everywhere with us. When you are expecting your first child there is a lot of “stuff” you need to get. I remember sitting down with my husband and thinking about what were the necessary items we needed for baby #1. I knew I wanted a sturdy stroller that we could use for years to come. Upon doing research we were overwhelmed. We soon discovered you could spend anywhere from $50 to $600 on a stroller. You may think “why do I need a jogging stroller, I do not really jog.” Well, you may not jog, but you will want the comfort and features of a jogging stroller.
We have invested in the BOB Revolution SE stroller, both the single and double ones. Here is thing in our house- we use our stroller every day.
When our first child was born, the single BOB was awesome. We took him on his first walk in it and continue to use it and he is now 3 years old. I love the large front wheel to steer with. It can be steered with one hand, backs up well and handles curbs or trails. When traveling, this is the only stroller we used on many flights- to LAX, Buffalo, Orlando and Dallas. The cup holder is a great addition to purchase. You will need a place to put your water bottle or morning coffee, am I right?
Once we were expecting our second child, we knew we would opt for the double BOB to meet our needs. A year into our adventures with “Big BOB” we are tried and true BOB lovers. Our boys are fully covered from the sun with the shade pulled tight and even keeps a light rain off of them. The only negative thing is that the double BOB is a bit heavy when folded to swing into the back of a vehicle. It can be done, just with some effort. We usually take off the wheels, which is easy to do when it goes in the trunk. If you have children, invest in a stroller you love. Do not go cheap unless that is the best you can do. You will not regret a good stroller that your kid can enjoy in the years to come. I am glad we did. I know our Little BOB and Big BOB will be sunfaded on the trails around our home or up and down our street.
